Download Studio Buddy

Two things to install: the plugin (goes in Logic Pro) and the companion app (runs alongside it).

REQUIREMENTS

  • · macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
  • · Logic Pro (10.8+)
  • · Apple Silicon or Intel Mac

Studio Buddy doesn't work on Windows, Linux, or iPad, and it doesn't work with other DAWs (Ableton, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, etc.). Logic Pro on Mac only.

v0.1.2 · .dmg (drag to /Applications)

Quick Setup

  1. 1

    Install the plugin

Run the .pkg installer. It places Studio Buddy.component in your Audio Units folder.

  2. 2

    Install the companion app

Drag the Studio Buddy app to your Applications folder. Open it and grant Accessibility permission when prompted. That's what lets the agent read and drive Logic.

  3. 3

Open the companion app and sign into your Studio Buddy account. You'll need an active subscription to use AI features.

  4. 4

Add Studio Buddy to your stereo master

In Logic Pro, drop Studio Buddy on your stereo master bus. That's the only track you need it on. From the master, the agent can reach every track in the session.

  5. 5

    Give it a task

Open the companion app and ask in plain English. "Tighten the low end." "The chorus sounds muddy." Studio Buddy inspects your session, operates Logic, and tells you exactly what it changed.
